Crafting “I care” conversations

Listening

Silence is often an indicator of tension. I search for tension on social media, discussion websites, books, magazines, etc. to create an initial hypothesis to ask the right questions.

Engaging

Inserting the Why’s, How’s, and What If’s I find in clattering conversations. Questioning allows me to focus to get opinions that sound and count.

Decoding

I decipher my findings to make connections between what it’s said and meant to pull apart the truth nobody has spoken about yet (the insight!).

Responding

Assigning meaning to my findings to bring clarity, break the tension, and set intentions in a form of a strategic message.

Bonus: Add a dose of patience and empathy to this, because the different levels of noise
can sometimes clog my ears when cutting through the noise.

This is what happens
when you LISTEN
