GSBDC is a non-profit housing counseling agency in Brooklyn, New York, dedicated to maintaining a healthy community by providing free advice for residents’ unique housing needs.

GSBDC wanted to reach out to more people with their free services, but free wasn’t enough. They needed to have an online presence that would make visitors trust that the agency was real and safe. The site was completely revamped– from design to content.  

LMS: first-time homebuyer online course​

Due to the pandemic, GSBDC had to close its physical doors to the public. Therefore, they couldn’t host anyone interested in taking in-person classes to get a first-time homebuyer certificate. We developed a first-time homebuyer online course which has had an excellent reception amongst new residents of the area.

Social Media: Instagram & Facebook

With a small budget, most of social media was organic. GSBDC did a few paid Facebook ads to increase awareness, which generated about 15% engagement. Since housing falls in a special ad category, it was challenging to reach a more precise target.
